From 9-28 June 2014, James Nickel recorded one hundred twenty 15-25 minute lectures at a studio in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. These short explorations will complement his upcoming book The Dance of Number. The estimated date of publication: 2015.

On 18-19 October 2013, James Nickel spoke on the Trinitarian Ground of Mathematics and Science at the Mandala Fellowship, Pinehurst, North Carolina.

On 23 August 2013, James Nickel led a four-hour WEB training session for teachers at Agape Christi Academy, Eden Prarie, Minnesota. Topics: (1) A Biblical Christian Framework for Understanding Mathematics and (2) Arithemtic operations based upon the Japanese Soroban.

From 12-14 April 2012, James Nickel spoke at a history symposium in Spokane, Washington. Topics: (1) The Role of Mathematics in the Scientific Revolution, (2) The Impact of the Incarnation on Science and Mathematics, and (3) The Roots of the Scientific Revolution.

On 10 March 2012, James Nickel spoke at a Classical Conversations conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. Topic: How the Doctrine of the Incarnation Transforms our Understanding, Doing and Teaching of mathematics.

On 7 March 2012, Sound Mind Press published James Nickel's essay The Incarnation of the Word and the Transformation of the Landscape of Mathematics. It is avaiable for purchase on Amazon Kindle.

On 24 February 2012, a new publishing venture, Sound Mind Press, commenced. It will be initially devoted to creating electronic publications compatible with Kindle.
