Since 1973, James Nickel has devoted himself to the cause of Christ's kingdom. Albeit falling short of God's standards in many ways, he has endeavored in God's grace to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (II Corinthians 10:5), especially in the area of mathematics and science. He holds degrees in mathematics (BA, Fresno State University), theology (BTh and BMiss, Bethany Global University), and education (MA, Valley Christian University).
He is the author of:
(1) Mathematics: Is God Silent? (Ross House Books, [1990] 2001).
(2) The Incarnation of the Word and the Transformation of the Landscape of Mathematics (Center for Cultural Leadership/Sound Mind Press, 2012).
(3) The Dance of Number, four volumes plus solutions manuals and quiz/exam packets (Sound Mind Press, 2018).
(4) The Tapestry of the Incarnation (Sound Mind Press, 2020).
(5) Mathematics: Exploring Beauty (Sound Mind Press, 2024).
He is a Senior Fellow of Mathematics and Education at the Center for Cultural Leadership.
He is currently working on "The Supreme Purpost of Love - The Creedal Faith" .
